Thrivent Chapter Volunteer Eligibility Requirements

Some members are not eligible to hold certain volunteer leader positions due to conflicts of interest. See the charts below regarding chapter leadership board and congregational position eligibility.

Also, chapter leaders and the three congregational coordinators at each congregation must be from different households. A: Yes. You can live outside of the chapter's area, but you must contact the Fraternal Service Center at 800-236-3736 to request it as your preferred chapter.

Q: Can I be a Congregational Champion in a congregation outside of my chapter?
A: Yes.

Q: Can the Thrivent Builds positions be from the same household as another chapter leader or another congregational coordinator?
A: Yes.

Q: How does systems access for the Thrivent Builds positions differ from other positions?

A: Neither. It is a unique position that is appointed by the chapter leadership board.

A: No. However, like the congregational coordinator and chapter advisory positions, they must be re-appointed by the chapter leadership board on an annual basis.

Q: Can multiple people fill the Thrivent Builds Chapter Specialist position?
A: Yes.
