where your heart and passion lead you. And now, it's even easier to lead a trip and make a
profound difference in a family's life.
Destination of Choice Package Trips
Ready-to-Lead Trips in 2008
This year, in addition to our standard Destination of Choice trips, we're offering "prepackaged,"
ready-to-lead trips. We take care of the details, like hotel accommodations and ground transportation. And, we've made team leader training as easy as possible with a four-hour online training session. You focus on what's really important—recruiting and guiding
participants—and working with partner families to build simple, decent, affordable homes.

What is included
Your trip cost, based on a team of 10-15 volunteers, with 50% Thrivent Financial members, is all inclusive, including:
- As a benefit of membership, all Thrivent Financial for Lutherans benefit members*
receive a $200 discount on trip costs. It's the power of your membership in action!
- A $10,000 donation from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans to the Habitat host program.
- Waived required donations from trip participants to Habitat for Humanity – a $500 value!
- Full coverage of trip costs for team leaders (minus airfare).
- Tips/gratuities and travel from and to the airport in-country.
- Accommodations at a clean, comfortable local hotel.
- Daily shuttle service to the job site.
- Three meals a day.
- Purified water on the build site.

- Organized and supervised build sites.
- All tools and building materials provided on site.

Location: Bolivia
Travel to Bolivia: The Heart of South America!
- Trip Cost
- Members: $779 plus airfare and $120 for an entry visa.
- Nonmembers: $979 plus airfare and $120 for an entry visa.
- Trip Duration: 11 days
- Recreational activities: Enjoy private transportation to San Javier, receive a
guided visit to first Jesuit Mission church (ca. 1691), and sample typical Camba
foods. Travel onward to Concepcion to visit a Baroque style church (ca. 1708)
and local artisan workshops famous for their beautiful string instruments.
Location: Honduras
Make new friends and experience the work of Habitat in beautiful Honduras!

options ranging from tropical rain forest zip lines and hikes to snorkeling
or touring archeological sites.

Build in beautiful Hungary, the land of the Blue Danube.

- Recreational activities: Enjoy a guided tour of Budapest and an excursion
to Hortobagy which includes a boat trip.
Location: Macedonia
Enjoy unparalleled beauty and Biblical history in Macedonia.

Bucovina, a medieval monastery.

details so you can take the lead in helping others.
