Needed: Pilot Team Members
Help shape the El Salvador Community: Learn more about joining a pilot team
You can participate in one of five volunteer work trip pilot teams to the new Thrivent Builds Worldwide El Salvador Community this summer. In addition to typical volunteer responsibilities, you will be an integral part of designing the community by testing out the program and sharing your feedback to help determine if Thrivent Builds should build a community in El Salvador. You’ll also have fun meeting other Thrivent Financial members as together you become “architects of peace.”

Benefit of Thrivent Financial membership
As a benefit of membership, all Thrivent Financial for Lutherans benefit members are eligible for the $649 trip cost. You are considered a Thrivent Financial benefit member if you are age 18 or older and own Thrivent Financial insurance or annuities. You also qualify if you have a Thrivent Mutual Fund account or an insurance or annuity contract issued by Thrivent Life Insurance Company. It is Thrivent Financial’s members’ investments that make this impact to the El Salvador community possible. Because non-members have not made the investment in Thrivent Financial that members have, we are asking them to increase the amount they donate to help Habitat for Humanity El Salvador rebuild communities.
You can verify your membership here.
Why fundraise?
Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is contributing $50,000 to the Thrivent Builds Worldwide El Salvador Community pilot project. These funds will help six familiesmaybe for the first time in their livesknow the safety and security of their own homes. But in El Salvador there are over 600,000 families living in substandard housing. By fundraising for an additional donation to Habitat for Humanity El Salvador, you are helping provide the hope and security of homeownership to even more families.
