Team leaders needed – leaders' trip costs and airfare covered!
The team leader is at the heart of a meaningful Thrivent Builds Worldwide El Salvador Community trip! Because of this, team leaders are not only supported through tools and resources to recruit their teams and in depth training, the cost of their trip is also covered by the program. In addition, team leader travel expenses are reimbursed on a tiered basis depending on the size of the team, up to the average flight cost to San Salvador, El Salvador.

Once you arrive in El Salvador, you will be well taken care of! Your trip cost is all inclusive:
- Travel between the airport in San Salvador and Ahuachapan, and daily transportation to the Getsemani Project site.
- Lodging at either Posada del Angel or Hotel Villa Terra in San Salvador; and either Hotel Alicante or Hotel Casa Blanca in Ahuachapan.
- Three meals a day, snacks and pure drinking water.
- Cross-cultural activities with El Salvadoran families throughout the week, including tours, meals and other special opportunities.
- Rewarding volunteer experiences, with well-organized and expertly supervised building sites. All tools and building materials are provided.
- Team meetings provide opportunities to reflect and share insights with other team members.
- Welcome and farewell parties.
- One cultural activity day during the weekend; select from an adventure day on La Ruta de las Flores, a day at the beach or a city tour of San Salvador.
What's NOT included in the Trip Cost:
- Airfare to San Salvador, El Salvador.
- $10 country entry visa (paid in U.S. dollars upon arrival in San Salvador).
- Alcoholic beverages.
- Personal souvenirs.
- Extra activities or services during the weekend cultural activity, such as snorkeling or fishing at the beach.

All Thrivent Financial for Lutheran benefit members are eligible for a discounted trip cost. If you own Thrivent Financial for Lutheran annuity or insurance products, are 16-years or older, and have applied for and been accepted for membership you are considered a member.
