Arrive at the San Salvador airport in El Salvador. You’re greeted by Habitat for Humanity El Salvador staff and driven to Hotel Sahara, your accommodations for most of your trip week.
Meet your teammates at a thorough orientation meeting that evening.
Learn the logistics of your week, including meal times and activities for the week.
Enjoy your first group dinner at Hotel Sahara and relax on their beautiful rooftop lounge area.

Attend a church service at a local Lutheran church.
Participate in a special welcome activity.

| Monday through Friday |
You’ll be driven to your job site.
You'll eat breakfast at the hotel each morning and a traditional Salvadoran lunch will be delivered to you at the job site.
You'll eat dinner together and reflect with your team members each day on your experiences.

| Wednesday |
Local Salvadoran Lutherans will join you at the build site to help with home construction.
You'll join those Lutherans for an intercultural activity to help each other understand your cultures.
|
| Friday |
After a half day on the build site and a farewell lunch, you'll return to Hotel Sahara to check out and prepare for your weekend activities.
You'll depart in the afternoon for either a flower and coffee trail tour or for the Costa del Sol beach. You'll check into your new hotel(s) for the remainder of your time in El Salvador.

Check out of your hotel and say your final goodbyes to El Salvador.
Transportation is provided to the airport.
