Leaders' Trip Costs and Airfare will be Covered
The team leader is the core of a Thrivent Builds Worldwide Gulf Coast Community trip. Team leaders are supported with team member recruiting tools and are provided with thorough virtual training to help ensure a great trip experience. We understand the important role played by a Thrivent Builds Worldwide trip team leader. With that in mind, we have included into the cost of each trip the team leader's online training and trip cost. Travel costs are reimbursed on a tiered basis depending on the size team you recruit, up to the average flight cost to Biloxi, MS.
- Be a team leader – Recruit teams of 10 – 13 volunteers.

- Join an existing trip – There are limited trip weeks available for individuals.

Once you arrive in Biloxi, Mississippi you're taken care of! Your trip cost is all inclusive:
- Travel from and to the airport.
- Daily shuttle service to the job site.
- Three meals a day.
- Tours and taste of the town dinners.
- Organized and supervised build sites.
- All tools and building materials provided on site.
Benefit of Thrivent Financial Membership
As a benefit of membership, all Thrivent Financial for Lutherans benefit members are eligible for the discounted trip cost. You are considered a Thrivent Financial benefit member if you are age 16 or older and own Thrivent Financial insurance or annuities. You also qualify if you have a Thrivent Mutual Fund account or an insurance or annuity contract issued by Thrivent Life Insurance Company.

Why You Should Consider Fundraising to Bring a Donation
The Thrivent Builds Worldwide Gulf Coast Community program is helping 28 families to have the safety and security of their own home again. But the need in the Mississippi Gulf Coast is so much greater. Only 15% of the homes along the Gulf Coast destroyed by Hurricanes Rita and Katrina have been rebuilt. By fundraising for an additional donation to the Habitat for Humanity Mississippi Gulf Coast affiliate you can help more families rebuild their homes – and their lives. It's also a great way to involve others who are unable to go on a trip in the mission of rebuilding the Gulf Coast.
